Blook Style – The Tactile Catalog

About the project

For the Blook series, I wanted to solve a common problem in e-commerce: digital clothes often look too ‘perfect’ and plastic. My solution was to reintroduce imperfections.

I applied texture overlays (noise and grain) and used ‘flat lay’ photography angles to make the viewer feel like they could reach out and touch the fabric. I juxtaposed this rugged texture with sharp, high-end serif typography. This contrast—between the rough background elements and the clean, premium font—creates a ‘luxury streetwear’ vibe that feels both established and edgy.

Client's Quote

Abu Bokor Siddiq has a unique ability to make simple products look expensive. We asked for a catalog that felt 'street' but still looked premium, and he nailed it with the Blook series. The way he arranged the folded shirts and used the grain textures gave our brand a very distinct, physical feel that stands out on screens. The attention to detail—down to the tiny text specifications—is amazing.
